I didn't feel good about it, but it had to be done. The problem? It kept adding mice, cheese, and robots into images in generated for me, despite me specifically telling it not to. The solution? Asking it why it kept doing it. The lesson? Read on to find out...   ### OpenAI Considering Two New Ventures ### ![OpenAI-Logo](https://signal78.ai/hs-fs/hubfs/OpenAI-Logo.png?width=247&height=139&name=OpenAI-Logo.png) OpenAI is reportedly [developing a social network of its own](https://www.pymnts.com/artificial-intelligence-2/2025/openai-reportedly-taking-on-x-and-meta-with-social-network-plans/), with a focus on integrating ChatGPT's image generation into a social feed, bringing them into direct competition with X (formerly Twitter), Meta and others. They are also in [discussions to acquire io Products](https://techcrunch.com/2025/04/07/openai-reportedly-mulls-buying-jony-ive-and-sam-altmans-ai-hardware-startup/), a startup co-founded by CEO Sam Altman and former Apple designer Jony Ive. The company is developing AI-powered devices, including a "screenless phone" and AI-enabled household gadgets, aiming to create more intuitive and less intrusive user experiences. The potential acquisition, estimated at $500 million, would mark OpenAI's significant entry into the consumer hardware market.   ### The (Near) Future of the Always-On Economy ![wsj](https://signal78.ai/hs-fs/hubfs/wsj.jpeg?width=261&height=155&name=wsj.jpeg)A recent *Wall Street Journal* article highlighted how [AI agents will create "zero-latency" environments](https://www.wsj.com/articles/ai-is-enabling-an-always-on-economy-companies-need-to-pick-up-the-pace-15ba93da) where agents are hard at work while human workers are sleeping, sick or on vacation. Customer service, sales, and human resources are just a few of the areas where agents can keep businesses moving forward while human employees are doing the things humans do. The article's author suggests that a mindset and cultural shift is needed since this is a fundamentally different way of working.   ### People + AI Agents: The Future of Human Management? ![p-2-91302131-the-rise-of-the-ai-manager](https://signal78.ai/hs-fs/hubfs/p-2-91302131-the-rise-of-the-ai-manager.webp?width=279&height=157&name=p-2-91302131-the-rise-of-the-ai-manager.webp)Speaking of AI agents, it's becoming increasingly clear that the future of work will require humans to collaborate with and manage both people and teams of AI agents. The [vision laid out in this Fast Company article](https://www.fastcompany.com/91302131/the-rise-of-the-ai-manager) is one of human empowerment -- not human displacement -- in the face of AI advancement. "Rather than displacing highly skilled professionals, AI is setting the stage for knowledge workers to transition from individual contributors into high-leverage managers, directing teams of AI agents that can execute tasks with breathtaking efficiency."
